Surface Preparation

1. Clean the surface.
   Remove dirt, dust, oil, old paint residues and loose material that cannot support itself.
2. Make sure the surface is dry.
   Paint should be applied to dry and properly prepared surfaces.
3. Repair cracks and surface imperfections.
   Surface unevenness, defects and cracks should be repaired using
   Permolit Permomacun Water-Based Super Acrylic Interior Wall Putty.
4. Prime new plastered and putty-applied surfaces.
   Surfaces being painted for the first time should be primed with one coat of
   Permobinder or Permoten Satin Gypsum Primer.
5. Prepare previously painted surfaces.
   Previously painted surfaces and other suitable substrates should be primed
   with one coat of Permomax Universal Primer.
6. Allow the primer to dry.
   Paint application can begin approximately 6 hours after primer application.
7. Prepare surfaces with existing mould or fungal growth.
   After appropriate mechanical cleaning, suitable pre-treatment should be carried out
   using Permobio.

 

1. Stir Thoroughly Stir the paint thoroughly before application until a homogeneous consistency is achieved.

2. Thin with Approximately 10% Water Thin the product with approximately 10% water by volume.

3. Apply the First Coat Apply evenly using a satin roller, brush or airless spraying system.

4. Wait at Least 6 Hours Allow at least 6 hours between coats before applying the next coat.

5. Apply the Second Coat Complete the application using at least two coats.
